Michal Negrin was born on Kibbutz Na'an, in the Israeli countryside, surrounded by nature and brimming with imagination and a deep love of beauty. As a child, she painted on tiny miniatures she found at the flea market with her mother, an artist. Those afternoons planted the seeds of an enchanting world of color, emotion and creativity, a world that would grow into an international design house. At its height, the brand counted some 180 boutiques: 110 in Israel and 70 around the world, in cities including Paris, London, Barcelona, New York and Tokyo.

She sold her first piece of jewelry at 15. In 1988, she made a dream come true and opened a jewelry stall at Nahalat Binyamin, Tel Aviv's famous open-air arts and crafts market. Shoppers quickly voted with their feet. It was clear that Michal's work was different: captivating, lavish and deeply moving.

Her virtuoso use of stones, her rare sensitivity to color, her devotion to the smallest detail and her love of the neo-Victorian style soon became her signature. Success came fast: first a studio in Tel Aviv, then cities around the world. Her pieces found their way into the hearts, and the jewelry boxes, of hundreds of thousands of customers, from Tokyo to Las Vegas. From the very beginning, Michal championed a vision of handmade jewelry, crafted in Israel with skill and love, and with an uncompromising commitment to quality and precision.
